Chris Wright, CEO of Liberty Energy, is delivering the opening keynote on the future of energy. Day two will open with remarks from Commissioner Jim Wright of the Texas Railroad Commission.

Advance Look At Preliminary Topic Agenda
The conference is expected to officially announce the preliminary topic agenda with the speakers added soon but some new details were posted to their website this week. In addition to the two keynotes mentioned above, here are some big panel attractions to look forward to:
On the Future Of Oilfield Water Management Panel, Amanda Brock (CEO of Aris Water Solutions) will be joined by other sector leaders in discussion about the structural evolution of water management and how it fits in the shale market of the future- The Money In Water Panel will tackle consolidation trends, deal values and trading multiples, and funding for the facilities of the future in water
- The Produced Water Law & Policy Update will gather leading lawyers and poly-wonks to address timely legislative, rule, and liability issues (spoiler alert: seismicity has added many wrinkles to this area of water management) and the discussion will contextualize legal / policy issues into actionable insights that practitioners in the field can use in their day-to-day workflow
- Water midstream has some interesting parallels and overlaps with carbon capture (implications for disposal pore space as CCUS grows), and speakers will address risk and opportunities on the Produced Water Risks & Opportunities In The CCUS Rush Panel
- Beneficial reuse is the classic “mañana project” in oilfield water – talked about all the time but always hanging out there on the horizon – but at this event, folks in the know will talk candidly on a panel about overcoming the hurdles to practice at scale (and how close we actually are)
- The E&P Water Category Manager Panel will bring together some of the biggest E&Ps to talk about how they are handling their water
- The Market Trends In Water Midstream Panel will bring together C-level water midstream executives to talk about contracting / commercial trends
- The Innovations Panel will highlight some big advances in various solution categories, including emerging fields in alternative monetization
