US Drilling Appears To Be On The Verge Of A Shallow Trough… Is A Spring Or Summer Rig Count Rally In The Cards?

In this week’s regular rig update, we note that while Total US land rig counts are down 27 rigs month over month, they’re up 28 rigs since this time last year. If the unconventional Permian rig counts is any sort of leading indicator, US land rig counts as a whole may have crested the peak.
